Balancing rich and robust notes of oak and vanilla, this whiskey satisfies enthusiasts looking for non-chill filtered bourbon while also honoring the original wheat bourbon recipe of William Larue Weller. The nose of this bourbon is rounded with notes of dark cherry, vanilla, and caramel before the palate opens to toasted oak that is deftly balanced with more caramel. This dark amber spirit is velvety and coats the tongue before a long warm finish that ending on chocolate, crme brle, cinnamon, and oak. Weller Full Proof Bourbon is a single annual release with no age statement but complex in both palate and nose. Exquisite, and approachable for a full proof bourbon, Weller Full Proof has won awards for the Gold Medal for the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Bronze medal for the 2020 World Whiskies Awards.
