Elijah Craig 18 Year is a single barrel bourbon whiskey that has about 75% fCorn inside of it, 13% Rye, and 12% Malted Barley. Elijah Craig 18 Year Bourbon Whiskey is a perfect blended bourbon. It was crafted by Elijah Craigs' master distiller and has an incredibly smooth taste. Elijah Craig 18 has won several awards in the past for being a remarkable bourbon whiskey. The 18-Year-Old Bourbon is distilled in one of the oldest Kentucky barrels. The flavor becomes robust and bold after sitting in the barrels for 18 years. The bottle won award after award due to the process and the way it is fermented. Elijah Craig 18 is a collectors edition bourbon and definitely carries the smooth however distinct flavor. Elijah Craig 18 Year has aromas of aged oak, spiced vanilla, mint, and chocolate. The taste has flavors of nuts, honey, toasted wood, and char. The taste is complex and rich. The finish has vanilla and pepper throughout and is lively. The color is warm and has a leather look. Elijah Craig 18 Year has 45% ABV and is 90 proof. The new charred oak scent is due to the 18 years it has aged for in these single barrels. Heaven Hill is the actual distiller of this bourbon. The region it comes from is Kentucky, USA.
