Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a bottle that uses heritage as inspiration. Labeled as a modern scotch with historic bones, this whiskey is made by blending several amazing single malt whiskies. It has sweet fruit and pineapple notes, with a rounded dark sugary body. The finish is lightly smoky with some notes of chocolate. Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky comes from a recipe that was supplied to the 1907 Antarctic Expedition. This whiskey was also blended from the finest Highland single malt whiskies, and would keep the crew warm as they discovered unchartered territories. You can be sure that they were cherishing this bottle dearly during those long, cold days and nights.
